Expanding Drive In Ubuntu



Before Starting

This process is not overly complicated but if you do not understand the instructions please feel free to reach out to us at 512-799-0401 x2


Expanding Drive

  • Open terminal
  • Type in sudo gparted
  • This will require you to type in the Admin password
  • The partition editor will open at this point
  • There is an orange button at the Top to adjust the partition size
  • The button looks like an arrow with a line at the end of the point
  • Slide the partition to the desired volume
