Expanding Drive In Windows



Before Starting

Expanding Drive

  • Right click on the Start button in the bottom right corner
  • Click Disk Management
  • On the lower ½ of the screen you will see the drive(s)
  • If a section is grayed out that is unallocated space meaning it is unusable
  • Right click on the last section that is usable
  • Usable sections have a solid blue line above them
  • Click Extend Volume
  • The Install Wizard will pop up
  • At the bottom right Click Next until the drive is expanded
  • If the drive does not fully expand you will need to repeat the process
